Bobby Hundreds of The Hundreds streetwear sat down with NFTNow to discuss the future of fashion NFTs. Hundreds is the co-founder of the brand, The Hundreds, and designer of, the iconic Adam Bomb logo.
The Hundreds entered the Metaverse ahead of Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, and Dolce & Gabbana.
According to NFTNow, The Hundreds was one of the first streetwear brands to take collector culture and make it appealing to youth.
“The attitude of NFTs that [The Hundreds] contributed is that you can be a collector, but it can also be done in a really cool and culture-forward way.”
Bobby Hundreds discusses how streetwear brands can get into NFTs, the future of Adam Bomb Squad.
Enter the Adam Bomb Squad NFT project has amassed more than $50 million in sales volume on NFT Marketplace OpenSea [https://opensea.io/collection/adam-bomb-squad].
But for Bobby, there’s far more to NFTs than a vehicle for art and wealth. He says the human element that inspired the creation of The Hundreds is exactly what motivates his and Ben’s efforts within the NFT community.
“What it’s really been about the entire time is the stories of people and humans and designers and the experiences of what they’ve gone through in their careers… So NFTs really spoke to us, because it kind of removed a lot of the fashion elements that we understand today and put the spotlight on the fact that it’s always been about human stories. It’s always been about art. It’s always been about identity, brand, community, craft, culture.”
