Ink Master Jesse Smith Enters NFT Space

Jesse Smith, a tattoo artist from the hit television show, Ink Master, is stepping into the metaverse with his new NFT project. Smith’s NFT project is a unique multi-faceted story centered around the fictional continent of “Carkayous.”

Jesse Smith’s ‘Carkayous’

As stated by the renowned tattoo artist, Carkayous was created out of a need for more depth in his work: “Carkayous was born because of the need to create more depth.” Hence, Smith created the Carkayous imaginary continent where all of his inherent characters can exist and communicate with each other.

“I had this idea in my mind for a while… But one of the things that ruined it was when I went to Universal Studios… I have to build a world similar to this.”

However, Jesse Smith’s next NFT project is a 10,000-piece PFP drop. The location is on Ferchett’s Island, a big island located on the southeastern side of Carkayous.

This NFT series will just focus on the purple aerial creatures.

Jesse Smith’s NFT Project Vision

Smith’s major goal is to continue making Carkayous and has also been working on this project for more than a decade.

Smith “ultimately likes to turn it into a video game and cartoon.” In addition, the artist proposes that Carkayous could appear to be his permanent project.
