Rachel Rossin, a New York multimedia artist and a self-taught programmer has minted her DNA sequence as an NFT. The smart contract used for minting the NFT project contains a string of code: Rossin’s sequenced genome. The sequenced genome is available on OpenSea as “Rachel Rossin’s Raw DNA (2021).”
Accordingly, the artist registered her DNA onto blockchain. Rachel Rossin believes “everything will eventually get together”, despite the fact technology and our bodies are quite different.
NFT Artist is an impressive combination of codes. She said that collectors are increasingly focusing on NFTs’ financial aspects.
