Vogue Magazine Releases First-Ever NFT Cover

Vogue, a luxury fashion magazine and lifestyle magazine, has published the first-ever NFT Cover for its September 2021 issue of Vogue Singapore. Traditionally, September is the most important issue. Two NFT covers will be created by different artists. The magazine doesn’t have a printed cover, but it comes with a QR code buyers must scan to view the NFTs.

These two NFT covers, “The RenaiXance Rising” or ” Triumphant Wakening“, are part of the September global theme of “New Beginnings,” which explores digital innovation’s creative renaissance.

“RenaiXance Rising,” an NFT created by Shavonne, a photographer, and digital fashion house The Fabricant. The programmable NFT adjusts in position and lighting to match the Singapore live time. Shavonne is well-known for her 3D virtual model NFTs and has been featured in Vogue Singapore.

“Triumphant Awakening”, a 3D art project by Chad Knight , was created in collaboration with Baelf Design, a Singapore-based design studio. The AI-generated fractal headpiece was created by Chad Knight . The NFTs will be sold in 1-of-1 editions at end of month. The issue will also be available for purchase.
